The bartenders here (a husband and wife team) are very friendly and helpful to tourists. The menu is good, and we had the English cheese plate as well as the charcuterie sampler. Both were outstanding. We will definitely go back here the next time we're in Savannah.

You can't miss this place. Smack dab in the middle of Bay Street in Savannah. Beer selection overall was quite lackluster. poor selection of stouts and porters. The food is average. The British Board offers up two types of stilton cheeses, a cheddar, and dried fruits and nuts. Goes well with the beer.

We thought this place was going to have good drink specials but the drinks were way overpriced. The happy hour specials were not as good as other bars in the area. We thought it was going to be more of a bar scene but it was definitely more of a restaurant. The crowd was kind of snobby. We went on a cold rainy Wednesday night so it may be different on the weekends.

The bathroom was scary. You have to walk down some creepy stairs that were not suitable for heels. Maybe it was because we heard some ghost stories but the bathroom was pretty far away from the main bar/restaurant.

The bartenders were awesome and friendly and helped us find places to go in savannah! We made friends with some of the staff and that was cool.

Winston's, in the "basement" at Churchill's on Bay Street, is an excellent choice if you require a private area away from the main bar to get together with friends. Churchill's set up an excellent buffet and bar for our event. The food and beverages were better than I anticipated, the service was equally impressive. Great bar and late night food upstairs in Churchill's as well. Definitely recommend!
