The review is NOT about the food, but about the "experience".We ducked into this place late last night to get out of the rain...the air conditioning was just what the doctor ordered. We sat at the bar and made a friend immediately, a new bartender friend!. So sorry that we did not catch her name, blonde, putting herself thru college and loves her bike.. now that we have her smiling, back to our two cents...being wino's, we found the wine "acceptable"...hey, who goes to a pub for wine anyway? ughh. Of Course Guinness was on tap along with a few local craft beers. We had a blast talking to fellow "getting out of the rain" people...The bartender was gracious enough to stay late to keep us indoors. We made new friends, told each other lies and bent our elbows.. Carpe Diem

Very nice decor in old cotton warehouse. Chef is good - try something with the peach BBQ sauce! I tried the shrimp and grits in several restaurants in town and this was the best one by far.

I have been here before and remembered it to be very good. It was average. The service was excellent, as was the view, and our server was great - but the food was not outstanding and the restaurant (I am taking into consideration that this is a very, very old building) looked as though it could use a cleaning.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate the constructive criticism. I am glad you had a good meal and excellent service! Our severs and chefs take a lot of pride in preparing and serving our food! Please visit us again on your next visit to Savannah for another amazing meal! We are located in a restored 18th century cotton warehouse overlooking the Savannah River. It can be a challenge cleaning a building that is over 250 years old! Thanks for the reminder!

After sitting at a table at the shrimp factory being ignored for a bit we decided to leave and ran into this place. What a difference!! Server was super friendly, food was great and view was nice. Ribeye was perfectly seasoned and cooked, swordfish was really good and fried green tomatoes were yummy as well. Try the peach sangria....awesome!

Boar's Head Grill is in the heart of the tourist district. We had a very nice lunch, the staff was friendly. I try to stay away from the more touristy locations, but this one is ok.
