“thought it would be a typical tourist trap but good food and excellent waiter”
Reviewed February 24, 2010

I had a burger and fries because I thought being at Factors Walk on the river it would be the typical tourist trap of bland overpriced food. But it was excellent and everyone else at the table agreed--we each had something different. The waiter was a real professional--attentive without being overwhelming with a good personality.

Ask for the chef special. They go overboard doing what they love and you will love them for it. Our tuna came seared with subtle and heavenly sauces,, and the potato cooked with bacon and cheese is a delight. With prices and ambience like your favorite family restaurant in a sterling location this is a find.

“Absolutely Dreadful”
Reviewed October 16, 2009

My wife and I went there today based on a Trip Advisor recommendation of where to eat in their Savannah Guide. Although the service was fast, the food was absolutely dreadful. Everything is heavily coated and deep fried and even something basic like coleslaw was inedible. To add insult to injury, a gratuity was automatically added the the bill. Tellingly, both the waitress and the host seemed to actively avoid asking whether we had enjoyed the meal.

“Good location”
Reviewed October 6, 2009

This restaurant is located on River Street and they have a few tables outside. The food quality is what you would expect for the price and the type of atmosphere. My husband got the shrimp and grits and he really enjoyed them. I tasted the dish and it was very good (better than the same dish from Vic's that I got for lunch the next day). I got the scallops and crab cake. The scallops were good but the crab cake was below average (very dry and not much crab).
