We ate at Elizabeth's on a recommendation, and as far as the food went, it was a good recommendation. The food was well cooked and flavoursome. However the service was certainly not the best, or what I would expect from an expensive restaurant. On being seated we waited a rather long time to be handed menus...to the point where we wondered whether it was a fixed menu, and thus no choice. Once we had the menus, it was an even longer time before someone came to take our order. In addition, as another reiewer has pointed out, despite the wait for menus and food, we were then served by multiple parties. Two separate waiters to bring us our drinks, one to take our order originally, one to bring our food, and another to check in our meal. So that was 5 separate waiters, which prevents you from building any relationship with your waiter.
Glad I have experienced it, as it is spoken of as one of the best in Savannah; but will certainly not be a repeat customer.
