The pancakes are to die for! The services is great. They have a good breakfast buffet with healthy and not so healthy selections.

Stayed at the Andaz and enjoyed creative cocktails at the bar and then an unexpectedly amazing dinner at 22 Square. Matt was our server and his knowledge and passion for the food was exceptional. Started with cheese plate (yummy!) and had appetizers instead of entrees for the meal. Everything was fresh, well seasoned, somewhat exotic in the combination of flavors (pulled pork shoulder with fresh house made pepper slaw for example) but all plates were truly delicious. The meal was also an excellent value. Love the minimalist but organic feeling decor. Overall an A+!

We were staying at the Andaz, and hadn't made reservations for the day we arrived. After having a terrific cocktail at the bar, we decided to be low-key and just eat at the hotel restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! How often do you find a hotel restaurant that is farm-to-table? The food was SOOOO fresh. We started with the "deviled egg" starter. This actually only comes with one deviled egg (two halves), plus a BOUNTY of fresh and pickled vegetables. The veggies tasted so good. Next, I had the raw oysters...fresh, briny, and as good as you could expect. I finished with a nice mixed salad that was tossed with a lovely buttermilk dressing (not overly dressed). I normally opt for a vinegar based dressing out of fear of a heavy, goopy salad. This was not the case; lovely and delicious. My partner had a roasted chicken on top of mushroom risotto that he raved about.

The restaurant lacked a bit of atmosphere...mostly from lack of patrons. People of and visitors to Savannah, you really need to try this place...and stop for a wonderful cocktail before hand at the lobby bar. You won't regret it!

What can I say.... The cocktails and appetizers are outstanding. I highly recommend the naughty Girl Scout drink. I can taste it right now!

This restaurant has something going for it that no one else has... The Amazing Chef Lauren! She clearly loves her work and we diners benefit mightily! Ask what is not on the menu. Chef Lauren tailors the fare based on the availability of fresh local produce, meats, and seafood. You're going to love this restaurant!
