B. Tillman's is a little off the normal Savannah resturant scene, but well worth the effort. The quiet dinning room is very fashionable and the wait staff is knowledgeable of the menu. The bar is limited on selection but did carry some favorites for us. The appitizer of the Gail Pops was well seasoned and cooked well. The Flounder is great - all the accompaniments go well with the dish.
If you are looking for great dinning without the hassle of going downtown, give B. Tillman's a try. This is one that I would recommend to friends without hesitation.

We have enjoyed two dinners at this quiet, lovely restaurant. While the menu is limited, specials are offered and the chef's creativity is in evidence in each presentation without being overdone. Our service was impeccable and from start to finish our meals were memorable. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

New with small but tasty menu. Skews toward beef. Cosy although booths are almost too wide . Elegant appointments. no signage. Not easy to find. Worth a visit. Good service.

B. TIllman is part of the Byrd Cookie Co., which is a long time staple in Savannah. The Store is great and a must to browse and shop in after you dine at the restaurant which is connected. Its been open for a little while now and has had some change of staff but is consistently excellent. First off there is not really much fine dining in the "midtown" area of Savannah. Some, but not a lot. Second, given that its associated with a traditional Southern Staple, Byrds, one would expect traditional southern fare. NOT! To everyones suprise and delight, you are treated to gourmet and healthy dishes like Charcouteries, pickled everything, walnut gorgonzola and apple salads, gourmet burgers with blue cheese and troufle fries, and many light and tasty dishes. They are now open for diners and on the weekend. Overall a great, gourmet and healthy option for lunch and now dinner.

Always fresh, mostly local and seasonal fish and veggies never disappoint. Chef is friendly and accommodating. Have returned again and again, and am pleased every time.
