Of all the movies that could have been playing when I was in Savannah, I couldn't believe I happened to be there while Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil was playing -- and for $8 a ticket!
The building is gorgeous. It's the kind of place people would pay money just to get a tour of the inside, though you don't have to. According to their web site, you can actually go inside and have a look around during normal business hours provided there isn't something else already going on.
Get there early if you have general admission tix; it's a popular place.
Popcorn was cheap but IMO too small, but the incredibly reasonable price on their alcoholic beverages balanced that out. Some candies are also available, and there is K-cup coffee at the downstairs concession stand only.
There was totally adequate restroom space as well, which isn't always the case in older buildings (well, or newer buildings, really). I saw a men's and a ladies' restroom on both the first and second levels.
