Played a round in late July and had a nice experience. I rarely play courses that cost this much (I believe our rate was $95), but this was a first class course and location. The staff were attentive, courteous, and friendly. Upon arrival our bags were picked up & put in a cart where they awaited us behind the clubhouse after we checked in. Balls at the driving range were included in the rate. The course was in great shape for the most part. LOTS of sand. The course is easy if kept in the fairway; pretty hard if not. With the cost we appreciated the little things - COLD water available every few holes, GPS on the carts, beverage cart every 4-5 holes, etc. One piece of advice if playing in summer...BRING BUG SPRAY. The mosquitoes are horrible.

Was pretty cool going onto the locker room and seeing names from the Legends tour on the lockers!

We played 72 holes in 3 days. They were getting ready for the Libery mutual Legends....it did not diminish our enjoyment of the course. It challenges every level of golfer .....and yielded an eagle for him. Bug spray provided and staff were very friendly...thanks Ryan Mello, Golf pro from Bermuda...a pleasant surprise and the other staff. Not enough birdies but lots of bird life, rabbits, turtles and of course.....alligators of all sizes...eek. Not worth 155 per round if you are a purist. Join Troon Golf-Georgia twosome or foursome, play round 2 for 20. The 7th is a beast. Rough tough in anticipation of seniors.

We bought a foursome at an auction on the advice of friends, so we were ahead on $$$ to begin with. It is a beautiful golf course in immaculate condition. No dormant grasses here in February.
Plenty of room and not a lot of play. Tees for women in particular, were fair. Nice layout with lots of interesting holes. I believe it was $165 per round at retail. You decide if that was worth it. I would definitely play this course again given the opportunity. Long views of the city and the river bridge. Connected to the Westin so golf packages may be available. Check it out. I reserve "excellent" for places like Winged Foot, Augusta, Oak Hill etc. You will love this course.
