This was our second time visiting Savannah and our first at the McMillan Inn. The Carriage House felt as though we were returning Home every evening. Eric, Melissa and the entire staff made us feel very welcome. Breakfast each morning was fantastic and prepared us for our daily adventures in town. Our Couples Message, which was part of our package, was also very relaxing. This long weekend was overdue and the McMillan Inn will be our stay of choice when we return to Savannah. More

My wife and I have stayed at various inns and hotels in Savannah and none have been better than the McMillan Inn. It is centrally located, within a block or two from Forsyth Park, a Kroger super market, a liquor store, and city tour bus stops. Breakfast was delicious. The peach iced tea, cookies and brownies seemed limitless. The swimming pool was just the right temperature and clean. Our room was beautiful and spacious enough for the two of us.
The staff, management and owners were extremely friendly, polite and professional. We expect to stay at the McMillan Inn again.
Wow to say you have stayed in Savannah many times & to say there is none better is a awesome complement!! We have 12 other rooms for you to experience so that is 1 trip a month for the next year to see them all LOL. We will be excited to see you guys again soon.

This was a chance finding on a third party site. Our every expectation was exceeded and then some. The grounds were stunning, and the hospitality unprecedented. We will be back. Eric, Melissa, and their family are nothing short of fantastic. I can not recommend this place enough.

We came for our 10th anniversary and the Inn surpassed all expectations! Eric & Melissa, the owners, made certain we had everything we needed for this much-anticipated getaway. We spent 3 nights here and I didn't wanna leave! It is beautiful, quiet,clean, close to Tybee Island and in the heart of the historic district of Savannah. Breakfast was great! My fave was Erics chicken and french toast! Delicious! Eric & Melissa (the owners) are awesome! We stayed in the Montgomery room. It was so pretty! We will be back for sure!

We had a wonderful stay at McMillan Inn for our anniversary! The Inn is so beautiful and Melissa/her family were very kind. A warning though about which room to book....we booked the Lafayette Room which is on the lower level of the house. It’s a gorgeous room! Something we didn’t think about while booking, though, is every morning the traffic on the main floor was very loud. It makes it difficult to sleep in at all. This is to be expected with an old house and old (beautiful!) wood floors we just didn’t think about it beforehand. So, definitely book a room on the upper level where you won’t hear the loud footsteps in the morning. If you are an early riser it won’t matter anyway!
I would love to come back after this Covid mess where breakfast isn’t to go...we would definitely stay again!
We are so glad to hear you enjoyed us as well as the inn. We do wish we had known you were not able to sleep in as we had other rooms we could have moved you to and would have been happy to do so. We do want to make future guests aware we had already planned a construction project a week from today to remove the ceiling in the LaFayette room to install a sound barrier to avoid any noise from the area up above this room. We always take feedback from guests & make improvements as needed to make each & every stay a 5 star experience that they all deserve. I wish this project could have been completed prior to your stay but finding windows of time to shut down a room for a extended time can sometimes be challenging. We promise this wont be a issue in the future.
