“Great service, great property”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

We arrived just as a large group of young adults were checking in and they had a problem with their reservation (THEIR problem, not LQ's!). The phenomenal gal at the front desk was efficient and patient getting them all settled (7 rooms of 4 girls each!) and then dealing with other guests. Though it could have been a bad experience, she made everything enjoyable and calm.

Beautiful property, clean, great breakfast, comfy beds. What more can I say? Will definitely be staying here again. For us it's LaQuinta all the way.

Have stayed here three times now when making trips back and forth between Virginia and Florida and loved it each time. By the second and third time we stayed here I was totally looking forward to it, since I knew what the rooms were like from our previous stay. The outside of the property is "meh" I suppose, but the rooms themselves are awesome. Clean, nice looking rooms, super comfy beds, nice showers with good shower pressure, large flat screen TVs, and all the in-room amenities that one comes to expect nowadays in motel/hotel rooms. (alarm clock, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, small coffee maker) and the value is superb. Twice we paid $55 plus tax, the third time we had a coupon for $49 plus tax. Considering you get a free breakfast, that was a good value to us. Surrounding the hotel within short walking distance are other restaurants for lunch and dinner. We tried the IHOP, Perkins, and the Denny's during our various stays, and all were great. Desk staff was friendly as well. In general we had no issues while here and should we have to head north again this is where we plan to stay.

After a trip to Ohio to visit friends and see the fall colors, we chose to return via Savannah and do a brief tour of this beautiful area. We chose the LaQuinta Inn Savannah I-95 for our overnight stay, as it was almost 1/2 the price of accommodations in downtown Savannah. It is also conveniently located just a block off I-95, and easily accessible after a 13-hr drive.

As usual, the mattress and bedding were just what the doctor ordered - very comfortable and supportive. The bathroom was clean and, in our room, ADA accessible. The shower head didn't offer any massage settings, but that was not a big deal. The hot water was plentiful and my daughter and I slept very well. The breakfast area was immediately adjacent to the check-in area and a little cramped, but it served its purpose. Love the waffle makers, especially with the four mini-waffle capacity.

The only issue really was that the night clerk was absent when we checked in, around 10:30 pm. Fortunately, there was an "Express Check-In" box on the wall, with our partially completed paperwork ready to go. There was, however, at least one irate potential customer who stormed out ahead of us, and the phone was ringing off the hook while we were in the desk area.

My wife and I ride with a group of motorcycle enthusiast. We often take overnight trips to sight see different places. This hotel came recommended by one of our riders who stayed there several years back because of the location. We should have checked out when we went to our room and a mouse ran down the corridor. On Saturday we went into Savannah and had a really great time. When we got back to the hotel there was not a parking space to be had on our side of the hotel. Now with everyone riding Goldwings and Ultra Classics no one wanted to park on the opposite side of the hotel. When we opened our door our beds had not been made. We got in touch with the front office and they made excuses but finally came to our room at 10:00 pm to change the bed linen. The only bright spot of the stay was the night manager who did everything he could to apologize and finally make things right. Needless to say on our next trip to Savannah, Ga. we will find another place to stay even if it does cost a little more.

We took our Girl Scout troop to Savannah and stayed at this hotel. We were on a tight budget and looked for a good rate. This filled the bill. The rooms are clean and so was the pool. We were very happy with the accommodations. The staff were quite helpful with everything. The breakfast was typical of a "continental breakfast" They did have the waffle machine which made the kids happy. The rooms are not large, but for our needs they did serve the purpose for two nights. It would have been nice to have fridges and microwaves in the room. I would definitely stay here again.
