We live in Savannah and ate at Maxwell's for my birthday. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional and priced appropriately. I will be back very soon for another visit.

On our recent visit to Savannah we spent an evening in the very enticing little “Bar - Restaurant” called Maxwell’s. The décor was simple and relaxing with a tasteful mix of the old and modern world.

The place had a warm and tantalizing, yet quiet atmosphere with just the right amount of background music. We were greeted by a charming lady whom we later found out was one of the owners. All the staff was quick, courteous, and friendly at all times.

As for the food, well over our 10 days in Savannah we went back nearly every second evening and got to try nearly all the items on the menu. Every little dish we ordered was nothing short of absolutely delicious, and the pricing-range was great. Real value for money!

What a pleasure to spend an evening “Maxwells”. It’s a MUST!!

I previously lived in Savannah for over 7 years and on a recent visit went to an amazing little restaurant called ‘Maxwell’s’… it was exactly what was missing when I lived there!!!

A well-stocked bar with a great selection of wines and an array of superb cocktails. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is exactly what’s required for a great evening out. The small plates are great to share, so you always get to try a bit of everything… and trust me, it’s worth every bite! Maxwell’s location is perfect as a great place to meet up for a bite and some drinks before heading out on the town… all within walking distance.

I highly recommend a visit to ‘Maxwell’s’ if you haven’t already been. Great Food, Great Drinks, Great Atmosphere, very… Savannah!!!

Walked in for Dinner on at Saturday at 7:30 without reservations. Attire looked to be smart casual, i was in a polo and boat shoes without regrets. Tables were half full, but my wife and I decided to sit at the bar and chat with the Bartender (Bethany?). One of the owners walked us to the bar and gave us an amazing appetizer of cherry tomatoes, vodka, and salt "so that we weren't quite so sober."

Ordered a few small plates of recommendations from the staff. Paired with amazing creations from behind the bar. Crab stuffed endive, coconut curry soup, stuffed beef, and scallops. Food was cooked perfectly, and the subtle details in presentation and flavor combinations was exceptional. The kitchen was busy but food came out quickly and fresh. Everything was amazing, But the real treat was socializing with the friendly staff, the perfect martinis and cocktails, and the beautiful craftsmanship of the building's interior.

We were treated perfectly by all the staff members and Bethany did a terrific job coming up with fantastic new drinks. This little place has a ton of charm, fantastic food, and is definitely one of the gems in Savannah. Go eat here before the secret gets out and it's always packed!

We were wandering around Savannah and came across a local who recommended this place. It's open days and evenings (not just evenings, as another reviewer wrote) and we had a great meal here. Hannah, the server, gets a mention for her excellent attention, and the food spoke for itself. We shared a variety of small dishes which proved to be a great decision. Everything was tasty tasty tasty - we occasionally eat in Michelin-starred places, and this was as good as that ! Some of the tastes we had here will live on in our memory for a long time - another highlight of our time in this beautiful city. The chef introduced himself, and it was a delight to hear the story behind the restaurant and some of the dishes. Just, simply, beautiful. Thanks, folks.
