“Best way to get around besides walking”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

My girlfriend and I spent a week in Savannah. I had purchased a two day on/off trolley pass and utilized it a couple of times but it was the pedicab that came in handy the most. We used them about 10 times and they were always at our location within 5 to 10 minutes. All of our "cabbies?" were attending SCAD and a few were from other States and not locals. Some knew the best places to go in town, where to stay away from at what times, where not to go, where to eat, etc. Information that came in handy as most of them had different suggestions but all seemed to agree on the places to stay away from.

The only drawback is that if you are a night owl then they normally stop service at midnight, but on two occasions they had stopped service before or around 11pm. One of the drivers stated that they had gotten into trouble because they missed about 27 calls the night before and were told to work until midnight no matter what. I came clean and said at least 6 of those were mine since the answering machine said they were busy on the other line and to please call back. We laughed but that night it happened again, 11pm and no one around. Oh, well.

Otherwise a great service and they take only tips, unless you hire them for a tour then they have a set 1/2 hour and hour price. I only drove my car one time and that was because I was going to other places outside of the historic distric. If the weather is nice then this is the way to travel in the historic distric unless you walk.

“Friendly, knowledgeable and efficient!”
Reviewed September 8, 2012

We rode with Savanah pedicab 7 times during a 3 day visit in early September 2012. Each time the service was prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. Patrick especially went out of his way to make our experience special, stopping to pick up a restaurant menu, allowing us to make dinner reservations or sharing information about sites in the historic district. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

“Ask for Max”
Reviewed July 3, 2012

Our 14 year old daughter is on crutches with an ankle injury... Max saved the day! He picked us up from dinner and pedaled his heart out to get us back to the hotel. We never would have make it without him! He was very personable and friendly. Thanks Max!

June 2012 the "cabs were so much fun we took them from the Marshal house to the cementary just to experince them. We had two pedicabs, as my teenage girls rode in the first one and than the other poor young man had myself and older daughter and the stroller and the baby he must have been very strong (ha) They bike for tips and are wonderfully knowledgeable.
