I go to Savannah often. I love it and always stay someplace new. This trip was with East Bay Inn. There were 4 of us and we all loved it. They were totally accomodating to our few requests at the time of our reservations. When we checked in months later every one of those had been honored; side by side rooms, not near an elevator and so on. Julie, on the desk was great and had wondeful suggestions for places to eat and things to do. I have been so many times that I know my way but she recommeded Alligator Sole on Barnard. What food!!!
This is a boutique hotel. They serve a lovely complimentary breakfast every morning. At 5 Pm the serve" cordials' in the lobby. The rooms are lovely and well maintained. Housekeeping does a great job. Watch the floors in the rooms..wide plank and well waxed. I almost fell.
The maintainence Man, Steve is great. A student of history, he can fill you in on all kinds of city details. And, came in on his off time to fix our broken airconditoner, staying into the night to make sure it worked. I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again.More
