We went feb15-19. i first arrived at hotel about 215 pm was told all the rooms were dirty the housekeepuing staff at walked out. to come back in an hour. so I came back at 3:15 to be informed my room still was not clean. but they would give me another king size suites that was clean was sent to 2 nd floor. to the room. when we got there the door was open dirty rag on coffee table and trash all over floor and no sheets on bed. had to drag all our stuff back down stairs to desk. the receptionist spologized and went to see if she could find a clean king suite. finally she finds one and we go back up to the 2 nd floor. once there I decided to take a bath however there is a plug for tub. i call down and am told it will be brought up in 20 minutes. so while i wait i turn on tv. first of all the remote wont work on either tv. then the one in the sitting room looses cable and only shows snow. the tv in the bedroom wouldnt turn off so had to unplug it 2 night out of 4 to get it off. i tell clerk who said she had " never received a complaint about that room". And out of all 4 days i was there our room never received any housekeeping except to take out dirty towels to wash. and these towels were never returned each evening i would have to go down to desk and ask for linen to bathe . and they only wanted to give you 2 towels and 1 wash cloth no matter the number of people in your room. i guess we were lucky though .the couple across the hall who had been there for several days had to go upstairs to a room that was being remodled to take baths because their suite had no hot water. so all and all folks you arent saving any money if you have to stay in a dump. i would nevr recommend this room to any one.

Room Tip: any other room but one in this hotel.

The young lady at the front desk, Shay, was very KIND and wonderfully helpful!! We asked about the nearby Perkins and she gave us a 15% off card. The ONLY complaint I really had was the "continental breakfast"... Pretty much just waffles and cereal. Two pieces of white bread and a few LITTLE chocolate and powdersugar donuts SPREAD OUT to look like more. No bagels or english muffins. The room was sufficient. Nice hot tub and COLD indoor pool. But again...what do you want for $39.00?!? A decent place to stay the night and GO!!!

Hotel near impossible to find, two different names on building, ask local for directions-never heard of you
Receptionist was perky and very friendly, but needed help handling check in
Bath tube was stained black and disgusting- stood on towel to shower
One window pane was broken
Second window frame was broken and jammed in a slightly opened position
Bed comforter was torn
Light between beds was unplugged and had to move bed stand to plug in
Shower mixer handle fell off when I tried to set temp
Informed staff during check out, seemed concerned and they apologized
Outdoor trash receptacle over flowing
My suggestion: get managers out of office and checking rooms

We checked in on 01-31-2013. The front desk clerk had a smile on her face and was happy to help us check in. The lobby area was very beautiful and was inviting.

Our bedroom was a king suite. Although the couch and chair looked a little outdated they we clean. The room has a fresh smell and was not offensive at all. Our bed was comfortable and clean. We could have used an extra pillow or 2 and an extra blanket but we didn't complain we just used what was given to us.

The breakfast was simple. Fresh waffle, cereal, fruit. Nothing fancy but for the price we weren't expecting a hot meal.
The pool was very nice and the hot tub was great to relax in after a long day of walking around.
The hotel looked like it was under some up grades so we didn't mind the little things that would have bothered us if we had paid more money for in a hotel that was not under construction.

We thought it was a clean room and the hotel staff was friendly.

We would stay here again the next time we come to Savannah.

As I read these reviews I cant help to think somethings are blown out of proportion. I stayed there recently in January and for the price, you cant beat it! the staff are so polite and understanding. Its like 20 minutes from Savannah including traffic, so location is good. Plenty of restaurants with in walking distance.

The staff did explain that the hotel was and still is under renovation, but they have come a long way. they just took over the property in the fall, and of course have small things and details to work out.

they offered an indoor pool and hot tub. A continental breakfast included in the morning time. Way more than expected for the deal I got, I mean what do you expect from a place only charging like 30-40 nightly? A 5 star resort? All I needed was a clean place to lay my head so I was ready to explore beautiful Savannah the next day, They provided more than I expected.

If you are a nit picker go stay at the Hampton and pay $119.00 nightly!

Room Tip: Everyone knows people slam doors. it isn't the hotels fault people are so disrespectful

We will not stay here again. No phone, no clock, no coffee pot, refrigerator didnt work, no hair dryer. Remote control did not work. Bed was hard as a rock. Stayed at a lot of hotels and this was by far the worst stay.
