If you love baseball, especially nostalgic baseball, you'll love Grayson Stadium.Nice classic look and feel. $10 box seats. Only downside is food could def be improved, but still a great way to spend the day.

One of the last great semi-pro parks from the good old days is presently being threatened by a deaf, dumb and blind city council that wants to mothball it in favor of building a new stadium, but purists will relish a day at Grayson Stadium. It looks like a set straight out of "Bull Durham" or "A League of Their Own", and since 1924 has hosted Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron and Shoeless Joe Jackson. The Yankees stopped here on their way to and from spring training to play exhibitions into the 1960's. Not a bad seat in the house, the tickets are cheap, and there's Boar's Head on the grill. Check it out before the bums down at city hall turn it into a mausoleum.

We wanted to see a bit of 'real' local sport so went to the Grayson Stadium for an evening minor league baseball game. Great!! Not that many people but really good atmosphere in a stadium which doesn't look as if it has changed since 1926. Cheap entry, 2 for 1 beers - what isn't there to like?

Small, cozy stadium, get up close to the action. The players aren't spoiled with huge salaries. Gteat value. Baseball back the way it should be.....,1950's style.

Fun evening watching players who still enjoy playing the game. Not expensive and convenient to downtown for visitors to Savannah.
