Online reservations easy to make. Plenty of email correspondence to confirm, advise gear, maps to the put in ramp, etc. Our tour guide Karen was extremely knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, bugs were no problem, water peaceful, beautiful day. The swamp is low due to drought, but had plenty of water to paddle in, and it was a rare and unique opportunity to see the nearly the entire root systems of the bald cypress and tupelo trees....they're huge, twisted and beautiful to behold. A fantastic trip for all ages, all skill levels.

We vacationed in Savannah over the Memorial Day weekend. Our first time in Savannah, and it is truly a beautiful city with the beaches and the local food. But the Ebenezer Creek trip was a simply breathtaking in its own way. Our guide, Becky, was so friendly and made everyone feel so at ease with both the canoeing and our surroundings. She was so knowledgeable and pointed out so many things we would have overlooked with no more than a passing glance. The creek is such a welcome change of pace from the city, it brings you so much closer to nature and it's amazing creations. For a first time paddler like me, it was not tiring or difficult to navigate or steer. I would do it again in a heartbeat maybe when the water level rises just to gain a different perspective. We only used sunscreen as there were no bugs at all to bother us during the entire trip.

Our photo club members thoroughly enjoyed the easy, quiet paddle on Ebenezer Creek. Karen was a wonderful guide, meeting us right on time in the early morning, giving us a quick and efficient lesson on paddling, and setting a pace so we could just relax, enjoy and photograph the unusual trees and do some bird spotting. The black, calm water was unbelievably reflective and made for some excellent images. I would recommend this outdoor adventure highly as a change of pace from the traffic and tourists in Savannah. Joyce and Becky did a terrific job of making arrangements and answering questions for this group and our other club members who went on the motor boat ride while we were canoeing. It was a pleasure working with them.

After a slight snafu, we boarded our boat. Rene was very patient with helping my handicapped sister into the boat. We were given the opportunity to photograph some tall ships that were sailing in for the weekend. Rene pointed out the wildlife while her husband gave us a bit of a history lesson. The weather was delightful, and Rene couldn't have been more pleasant or knowledgable. Ask for Rene, she is great and willing to cater to your needs.

We did a couple of tours and they were great. Both the city tour by bike and the boat ride to Wassaw island were really awesome. They will make sure you will have a great time!
