After two nights of relatively heavy food we decided we wanted something light out last night in Savannah. The Mirage was close and although there were few reviews we tried it. The chicken kebobs were excellent--better than the ones we regularly get at home and the baba ganoush appetizer was delicious. Service was attentive. Good find for a light meal.

It is not the best mediterranian food i ever had, but is not the worst either. The hummus tasted good and pita bread tasted very good. I gave them a 4 because asparagus soup and greek salad were not good at all.

Sunday evenings downtown it can be tough to find an open restaurant without a reservation, so we took a chance on this unassuming place. Both the value and quality pleased our group. My husband and I have returned several times, by ourselves and with friends. We've tried a wide sampling of the menu and we've always enjoyed the meals.

This is a very vegetarian friendly restaurant with quite a few choices.

My wife and I love Greek and mediterranean food in general so we were excited to try the Mirage after reading some great reviews here on Trip Advisor. We did lunch and it did not disappoint.

My wife got the Vegetable Kabob which is served on saffron rice. Excellent, fresh vegetables, great array of spices on the food and in particular, the carrots had a very unique and very flavorful taste.

I ordered a Shrimp and Scallop Casablana which is the seafood with a tomato, onions and pepper sauce over saffron rice. It was very good and again, the same carrots on the side. Very yummy.

We normally have unsweet teas with our meals, but they don't serve that here, only a minty sweet tea that was quite good. Not surgary sweet like most "southern sweet teas," but a very flavorful tea with just a little sweetener.

Overall a very pleasant experience for lunch.
