Owner description: A New Day For Tours...in Savannah, Hilton Head, Riceboro, and the Lowcountry of Georgia and South Carolina – “Day Clean Journeys”. We take you on journeys through time. Get a full view of the history regarding the above areas on one of our journeys (tours). We pride ourselves on providing “Tours for Everyone”! Anyone can and will enjoy our tours. Day Clean is a Gullah phrase that means “new day”, “beginning of the day”, or “dawn”. In addition, it is a philosophy of life that means each day is a new day; each day starts anew; no matter what occurred yesterday – today is a new day (“day clean”) . We provide stimulating, informative, and enlightening journeys. You may even become a little inspired after a journey.Students and Teachers, Families, Religious Groups, Youth Organizations, Conference Attendees, Senior Citizens, Friends, and Others have been enthralled by our journeys. We are sure you will be enthralled, also.We have provided tours and shared the history of the lowcountry to groups for over a decade. Not only can we provide a wonderful tour but we can arrange for living history presentations that are entertaining, engaging, and illuminating.

We were so bless with the tour or shall i say the journey, it was a wealth of information we learned a lot about savannah that we did not know. Since the tour we have been sharing our experience with family and friends both. All who are planning trips to savannah have promise to take the journey with Jamal who is fullof knowlwdge about his native home. We count our visit a blessing and a pkeasure to ahve encounter such a wonderful young man and young lady Trinkia. We look forward to next year we are planning a family reunion in savannah and plan to book the tour for members as a day of activity.

An immersion of culture at your absorption; not disposal! The tour owner was quite knowledgeable and kind, making sure to answer our every question. This was a lifetime experience, one that we could take over again! This journey is highly recommended!

We visted Savannah and made it a requirement to participate in this tour. The tour is absolutely amazing and very informative. We knew that there was a great amount of history in Savannah, but this tour takes the history lesson to another level. Jamal, the tour guide, was a walking African-American history book. We left the tour more educated than we thought we would be. Definitely worth the money and time spent. The lessons learned are priceless. We strongly recommend taking the time to participate!

My family and I booked a two-hour tour, but we could have stayed longer. There was so much information to absorb and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. Our visit to the oldest Black Baptist church and the square where the Hatian memorial monument stands was quite remarkable.(I did not know they had fought for us). Back in the 50's and 60's, our exposure to black history was minimal to none at all. Dr. Jamal Toure' took us on a wonderful journey--and because of his knowledge and skill in deliverying this bounty of information, I would recommend this tour to any and all of my family and friends visiting Savannah,GA.
