“Upscale Italian Created by a Very Creative Chef”
Reviewed June 12, 2013 via mobile

Leoci' s is located about a block south of the historical district in a small building with nice outdoor dining. Chef Roberto uses organic vegetables and non hormonal meats. He makes and sells an excellent Visalia onion relish and his pastas, risottos and sauces are quite wonderful. Eggplant, beef and veal along with a trout baked in salt all have his unique touch.
Lunch and dinner. The place is small, so reservations are needed. This is the place for a good hearty italian dinner with a Caesar and anchovies.

“Fantastic local restaurant”
Reviewed June 7, 2013

Locals eat there, so you know it is good. The menu is creative without being weird and offers a variety of seafood and meat options. They have an outdoor deck which is really beautiful. Our service has always been outstanding at this restaurant. Consider reservations. The interior portion of the restaurant is quite small.

“Great wine and food!”
Reviewed June 4, 2013

Thoroughly enjoyed very good seasonal dishes on a lovely patio in the historic district. All of the food was great - the portions were just a little large:).

“Excellent”
Reviewed June 3, 2013

The food, service and atmosphere (we ate outside) at Leoci's is outstanding. From the antipasti plate to the sangria (one of the best I've had) you can't go wrong. We both had the house specialty-lasagna. This is not the heavy, bland noodle lasagna. It is light and delicately seasoned. Everyone around us was also oohing and ahhing their food choices, so it appears they do well with all of the dishes. The waiter was pleasant and had great recommendations on pairings. This is a perfect place to hold a celebratory dinner or just enjoy a well prepared mea.

“I fast all day to go here.”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

This is not an eat and run establishment. For those of you that desire that, there's always Tubby's on Riverstreet. :-) this is a truly European night out for dinner type place. The food is amazing. I've had the pizza and didn't find it as delectable as the pastas. The risotto is some of the best I've had. The Bolognese is good. The pastas are what inspire me to come back. I have never had the steak but they look fantastic. The salmon carpaccio is stellar. I love it here. I've only had one bland time here and that's when they were closing Down for the winter holidays (NYE, XMAS) and the food was just simply not hot. Go here. If you don't like it, good, more for us!
