Jackie Heinz, who owns the Zeigler House Inn B&B, suggested that we eat at the Crystal Beer Parlor, and I am so thankful she did. The food was outstanding, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was excellent! The whole establishment is very interesting and comfortable. I will eat here every time I travel to Savannah.

Thank Dan R

At our first meal in Savannah we tried this busy corner pub. The dining room has plentiful seating. The servers are friendly and always looking to clear your table however ours was very slow and inefficient. We had the Gawgia Cracka Nachos that were very tasty. The pickles were odd and some sour cream would have been nice. The chicken tenders were moist and tasty done blackened and grilled for us. The salmon special was moist and a great citrus flavored hollandaise. The double decker turkey club was perfect. The banana egg roll for dessert was tiny but perfect with peanut butter, caramel, chocolate and ice cream. The beer selection was enormous. All in all a decent dinner.

First night in town and we discovered Crystal Beer Parlor. We had the oyster sandwich, the au poivre burger and the blue cheese chips. The oyster sandwich was great, the burger and chips required a special palate as the blue cheese overpowered the home made chips (which were delicious plain) and the burger was smothered in gravy. So, if you're into greasy pub food, this is the place for you!

Thanks for stopping by - there's plenty on the menu that isn't "greasy pub food". The Chicken Pomodoro, the baked deviled crab, the grilled shrimp, our many salads with grilled chicken or shrimp (we'll fry them if you like), the sauteed veggies, our salmon burger, our veggie burger, our turkey burger, our avocado hummus and more. We like to think we appeal to anyone who likes to eat. If you're looking for "greasy pub food", we've got it - if you're looking for something a little lighter we've got that, too! Almost everything on the menu is fully described so that our guests can make an informed decision when ordering. Mangia!

We visited here for lunch the other day. The crab burger was the special and it was a good size crab cake with a very tasty remoulade sauce. The crab stew was as good as any I have tasted.
