Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel. I am glad you enjoyed your stay! The valet parking is a necessity at historic district hotels due to the lack of space. I hope you will stay with us again should your travels bring you back to Savannah!
Nice, newly-renovated hotel that's easy to get to. Valet parking is affordable and the staff is friendly. The room is HUGE, clean and very modern. Not the nicest view (parking garage) but I was there for work, so I didn't really mind. Perhaps the other side of the hotel had better views A good stay and the only complaint I had was that the pillows weren't firm enough.
Thank you for taking the time to offer your feedback. I am sorry your view was less than satisfactory and the pillows did not suit you. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope you will choose us should your business travels bring you back to Savannah.
Rooms are spacious! In the middle of the historic district not far from great food and fun! I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling on business or simply bringing their Family to Savannah for a vacation. I just LOVE SPRINGHILL SUITES!
Thank you so much for the kind words. We love our military guests! Hope to have your group back again soon!
Room 408. Not the greatest view, but the room is more than you can ask for. GREAT air conditioning. Large flat panel TV.( The channel guide is in the room info folder in the workstation). Comfortable king bed. Microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, Ipod dock, sitting area. Work station with high speed Internet ( I could also connect wirelessly in my room, which was great for my Ipod). Clean, modern design. Roomy!!
Really, the bathroom is no problem. We have noticed ALL the newer resorts in the states and abroad have started to have a separate toilet area. The Sprighill has taken this a step further and made it a separate room altogether. I found it quite private, even for an old married couple. It was a great place to shave in the morning while my wife occupied the vanity.Nice shower with great hot water.
The only thing missing from the room was a safe.
Great rooftop pool on 2ND floor.
Friendly, helpful front desk.
Best part of free breakfast buffet was the waffle station. The eggs (powdered) and sliced? and turkey sausage left something to be desired. Cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, juice, fruit and all the coffee you wanted (24 hours)
GREAT location!!! Close to the Market, Riverfront, Shopping and Tours. Felt safe walking everywhere!!. $28 cab ride to and from airport.
I would recommend this hotel to family and friends!!
I will be glad to answer questions or concerns.
Thank you so much for your feedback! What a thorough and helpful review! I hope you will stay with us again if you visit Savannah!
My family of 4 (hubby, myself & two daughters 11 & 14) stayed in this nice hotel for 2 nights in Savannah, GA. It was clean, room was big, included breakfast every morning and was close to River St, City Market and nice shopping.
Friendly front desk, valet & concierge
Decent complmentary breakfast
Quiet part of town
In the Historic District
Walking Distance to Paula Deenes, the squares, City Market, River St...etc..
Room is large and modern
Beds are comfy
$12 valet parking fee
Bathroom is separated into 2 rooms (kind of a strange set-up) & the closet was in between the toilet room & shower room...thought the closet was the bathroom sometimes:)
A bit dark as we had a corner room
View of street/office building
Workout room quite small
Strange talking elevator although my kids thought it was funny
I will stay here again when I come back to Savannah, GA. It was reasonable and a good Springhill Suites!!!

I'm from Savannah, now living in Atlanta and enjoy any opportunity to come home. The hotel is very Chic, new and well managed. Location is a stiff walk in the heat of August and will be nasty in winter to the river. On prem parking was nice.
I all but live in hotels and travel all over the world so I get a good idea what a buck buys. This is a very good value prop. Did not see many business guest mostly tourist; I try to avoid hotels that draw heavy tourist trade.
Thank you so much for your feedback. It's always great to hear when our guests really find the value in the property and enjoy their stay. I hope you will stay with us again when you travel back home.
