“Girl Scouts”
Reviewed June 22, 2013

I had never heard of Juliette Gordon Low, aka Daisy, until I went to Savannah. She was an impressive 'Ballsy' woman, who was inspired by Baden Powell and went on to create Girl Scouts in the US. The House tour was informative and lively. Excellent.!

“On My Honor”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

Every girl scout or former girl scout visiting Savannah should have this house on their museum list. I loved hearing Juliette's life story and how the girl scouts originated. You are allowed to go into the rooms where the family lived which made Juliette's life so real.

“Girl Scout Mecca”

All Girl Scouts will enjoy this home. Other folks will enjoy this early 19th century mansion. The house is situated on one of the historic squares in Savannah. Enjoy the house.

“Must See”
Reviewed June 19, 2013 via mobile

If you are a Girl Scout or have one in your family, you must visit. Your Girl Scout can get a pin to remember her trip. Excellent guides give you insight into her life and times. Be aware the exterior is undergoing a major restoration, so be sure to buy a postcard of the outside.

“A must-see for Girl Scouts”
Reviewed June 19, 2013

Our Girl Scout Troop had a great experience learning and seeing the birthplace. Our tour guide was patient, shared great information and explained details about Daisy's life and passion for Scouting. The outside of the home is undergoing work, so it is covered by scaffolding. The tour did feel a little rushed to me, but the timing was ideal for younger girls.
