We had one lifetime Girl Scout amongst us so this was a must see! We thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour. Beautiful home and so much history to enjoy.

The Birthplace did a special program for the group of adults that I sent. Everyone really enjoyed the program, and they loved seeing the house and history (pretty good response from a group that all came from England and Ireland!). The gardens are lovely, and the staff was wonderfully helpful.

Don't take preschoolers, it's just too hard for them to not lean on anything. I think you would like this even if you weren't an old girl scout.

We had a great tour guide who gave the girls lots of time to look, ask questions and really get into the history of the house. We saw the main living areas as well as the room that Daisy was born in. The history is so amazing and you feel transported back into the Victorian age. The house hosted several presidents and has an amazing archive. We had a beautiful ceremony in the garden and the shop has some wonderful Girl Scout gifts. Don't miss seeing this house!

I learned so much about the founder of the Girl Scouts that I never knew before this visit. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, her voice and diction clear and audible. This house, carefully conserved in its original style and grandeur, should be on every girl's "must see" list- not for the house itself, but for the stories and anecdotes about a woman to whom we owe so much.
