I Learn so much about Savannah History that I fall in love with Savannah! The history about the past Revolutionary War, the Industrial, civil rights, the amazing woman in Savannah that mark the woman rights, the art, the music! Learning about where and who did and see the pictures. The woman whom was brave enogh to start the Girls Scout at her time when women were not welcome to such of thing was from there! It was a great way to improve my knowledge in history. Love it! Great place to take your kids, grandkids and family trip! I was with my husband and we enjoy it!

We took the city tour and bought the discount tickets to get into the museum. We thoroughly enjoyed the museum and all it offered. The exhibits were top-notch and cover the history of Savannah in good detail. Also the parting is free and you can save $10 for parking downtown. Grab the trolley from there.

The Savannah History Museum, located within the historic red brick Central of Georgia Railway train shed, provides an excellent glimpse into Savannah's past, from the Revolutionary War, Industrial Revolution, and civil rights era. In addition, the museum highlights the city's musical, artistic, and cultural contributions. Persons interested in receiving an overview of Savannah's history should visit this museum. While a very good museum, it has yet to reach its full potential.

Interesting museum with lots of local information and artifacts. We went to avoid being out in Hurricain Sandy and were very pleasantly surprised.
