Please be warned. As soon as you set foot in the City Market store, you will be offered a sample of a freshly made praline. It's all downhill from there. The pralines were loaded with pecans and had a deliciously smooth texture. If you buy one pound, you get half pound free. The total was @$20 but the extra half pound was for family. We preferred the original flavor but they also have chocolate pralines. The cute store also has a large candy counter and other sweet treats like fudge and taffy. The staff was friendly and gave us freshly made pralines for our purchases. We also saw a store down by River Road. Enjoy!

You have to stop by when they are making the taffy to watch! Free samples and the taffy is carried to bins using a cool conveyer belt-like machine. Prices for taffy and pralines are significantly better than at River Street Sweets. Friendly staff.

We stopped by Savannah Candy Kitchen in City Market and could not get enough of their Caramel Pralines (and Chocolate Pralines as well). Sold by the pound, they are rich, sweet and to die for! Despite it's high price tag, we highly recommend as least trying these pralines (they give free samples!). Overall, the candy kitchen is a great visit, very cute and charming with it's taffy wrapper machines and ongoing ceiling train. Kids and adults alike will surely love all aspects of this place.

interesting walk along historic river street. Pralines were delicious. Chocolates not so much, tasted to me like quite a bit of confectioner's coating is used in the chocolate. On our trip the staff was not at all interactive as in other reviews but they did their jobs well enough. I would purchase the pralines again. Both the traditional and the chocolate were quite good.

We went to the shop right on River Street. The ice cream was excellent, and the pralines melted in your mouth. The staff was so friendly and extremely helpful. A "must-see" for anyone with a sweet tooth!
