“Hidden jewel of a market/deli/candystore/bakery/wineshop/giftstore all in one--WOW!!!”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

This is not just a market or convenience store, folks, but a jewel of a place where you can get crab-stuffed mushrooms or India incense, a variety of wines or fresh-baked pretzel rolls, as well as your cigarettes, ice and beer, sure, but SO much more! Take a look around at the great variety of gifts and souvenirs, jewelry, scarves, kitchenware, cards, you name it! It's also an excellent place for lunch--or breakfast or dinner! You have everything from gourmet goat-cheese stuffed peppers to your basic fried chicken filet sandwich or hotdog; donuts and muffins, but also fresh fruit tarts and cheesecakes, your usual loaf of bread for sandwiches or choose from a wide variety of fresh baked breads, muffins, rolls, bagels, just anything you could want. There is a hot bar with fried chicken, sausage, eggs, grits or cool pasta salads and curried chicken, tuna or egg salads, with a side of fresh fruit. Scrumptious pastries, big jars of candy, as well as your usual candy bars and chips. Juices, teas, coffees; startling selections of wine, not just cold beer, gifts to cherish or to take home to friends and family--it really is an amazing place! Sit inside or take your meal outside at the tables. Plenty of parking, clean bathrooms, pleasant staff--just take your pick of all the goodies, warm up your goodies in the microwave, pick out a drink from the wide selection in the coolers or the wine rack, then take your time and decide on many kinds of sweets and desserts available. If you're at a hotel with a fridge, here's the place to shop for the morning breakfast or evening snack. Fresh flowers, gifts, jewelry, all kinds of goods for your ride home--it's an all-in-one extravaganza! For your first stop in the morning to pick up a great breakfast or your last stop on the way out of town for gas, gifts and snacks for the road, Parker's Market is the your best bet in Savannah!

“Always stop here when in town!”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

Love, love, love this market. I once dragged my daughter and boyfriend around for an hour because I couldn't remember where it was, but I remembered what it looked like! We usually stop here while in town for a light snack to bring to the square down the street, and on our way out of town for any cookbooks and eclectic cooking ingredients. They also have some great art work and recycled material purses and such. Always find something yummy and fun. A must stop while in Savannah.

“Great selection of food and wine”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

...but keep walking up the road to CVS for toothpaste and "toiletries". the ready-made food looked and smelled devine, superb selection of cheese; and I found a new favorite wine called Just.

“Interesting place”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

Their selection is surprising. I found German chocolate that I couldn't find anywhere else. The deli-food is just ok. Maybe it's hit or miss, but what we had lacked flavor. Coffee is good and sweets are just what you'd expect. Cheap smokes.
