This was Not a good attraction at all. The guide was not good. There were tons of yelling, uninterested kids on the tour so this is def not for those really into the paranormal
. It is not a serious hunt/tour as the ad insinuated. Those who saw this on certain ghost shows will certainly be disappointed.

Kinda bummed out that my husband, mother-in-law and I didn't go. We had cash and called to set up a reservation for monday night. The person on the phone told our mother-in-law that she needed to give them her credit card info in order to reserve a spot on the ghost tour that night.
I could understand if it was a busy weekend night, but monday? Really?
We have both been victims of credit card theft numerous times, so hearing that we had to give our credit card info over the phone to a complete stranger on the other end bothered us, especially since we were paying with cash. A red flag went up in my head as soon as I heard.
I will not go unless they change that policy. In this day and age where credit card theft is as common as car accidents, giving someone your card information over the phone should be null and void. A big no-no for us.

My boyfriend and I decided it would be a fun to take the paranormal tour which took you through the Sorrell Weed house. We have been on MANY ghost tours in the past and this one took the cake. You not only got spooky but factual stories but you also got EMF detectors. This house was featured on the Sci-fi network and before exploring it we got to watch a video on the house and the paranomal activity that has been captured in it. This story was so worth it! You get over an hour in this house and it is way too UNDERpriced for the AMAZING experience you get. I cant wait to upload the pictures!! GO GO GO!

We went because it is suppose to be a haunted house and wanted to know more about the history. We got in and watch a 'if these walls could talk' episode about the house. Then saw only four rooms in the house. Three of the four rooms on the ground floor and the basement. The house has supposedly been restored, but with wall paper hanging off the walls and chandeliers that were cool in 1987 I beg to differ. The tour guide seemed less then thrilled to show us around or tell us any information. The ghost tour she told us about seemed like a waste of time too- they turn a room all black and then have lights flashing to see ghost. The tour might have been worth the time spent if it was free, but it was a waste of $10 per person.
