“Beautiful and Cozy, Friendly and Gracious”

The house and our room were beatifully decorated, clean, and neat. The courtyard was charming and restful. Maurice and Glenn were very friendly and helpful and recommended places to visit and eat. We had wine and snacks with them in the afternoon. There were delicious brownies and sherry available and the breakfast was wonderful! The house is conveniently located adjacent to Forsyth Park within easy walking distance to most attractions.

Lovely B&B at the top of Forsyth Park adjacent to the historic district. We stayed the end of March, 2010. The inn itself has four guest rooms. My wife and I saw three of them and they had interesting period decorations. The inn itself and our room were immaculate. The bed was very comfortable. The inn was quiet at night for sleeping and the other guests we met were interesting to talk to. For one couple it was a repeat visit.

Maurice and Glenn are the owners and operators and are very accommodating and gracious hosts. One evening, just before dinner, I mislayed my car keys. Maurice drove us to our restaurant so we would not lose our reservation at the famous Pink House. Then they searched for my keys until they found them in the living room. Bonus, breakfast both mornings was delicious with some good Southern cooking touches.

Why is the location only four stars? Partly because I myself don't trust overly effusive reviews so if I had to search for a flaw it's that the inn is located on the far edge of the historic district. It's a nice spot right on the park, not the boondocks by any means. My wife and I enjoyed a leisurely walk through the historic district to the waterfront and back. We even chose to walk back from our dinner and had no problem doing so. That said, if you want to be in the center of the historic district so the action is one step from the front door then the Park Ave can't give you that. Of course if you value quiet that could be a bonus.

We really enjoyed Savannah and our two nights at the Park Ave Manor. We plan to return to both places and would recommend it without hesitation to our friends.

Loved coming to Savannah & Park Avenue Manor for our girls spring break. Felt like we were staying as house guests. Breakfast was inviting to share with the other house guests and got us going for touring, shopping, & beaching at Tybee Island. And we did it all in 3 days! What southern charm and loved being close to Forsythe Park and the historical area. Always loved Savannah and this trip made me love it even more. Maurice & Glenn made the trip memorable and make me planning my next trip back!

My first trip to Savannah & first B&B...it was great! Maurice & Glenn were wonderful hosts. They gladly gave us information on the area, places to eat and see. The park near their house was wonderful and felt very safe.. We stayed in the Colony Room, bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room. Breakfast was not your basic meal. Food was great, company conversation was enjoyable and I loved the table settings. Something different each day. I'll definitely be back to Savannah & the Park Avenue Manor! Keep up the good work guys!

Maurice and Glenn made our stay a fantastic experience. Great breakfast, great atmosphere, great conversation, great recommendations and great accomations. Close to everything. Loved the Robert E. Lee Room and the fireside Sherry!!! If you are looking for a place where you can feel comfortable and well informed on places to go and to eat, this is the place to go. We plan to return to the Park Avenue Manor when we visit Savannah again. Thank you Maurice & Glenn for making our stay a great experience!

Maurice and Glenn are true southern gentlemen. They could not have made our stay better. The breakfasts were amazing, with a different themed tableware daily. Our room was beautiful, quiet and cozy (cozy does not mean little). They always had a fire going in the main room, which made opening the door and walking in a delight. I highly recommend this B &B for your next visit to Savannah! They made our anniversary getaway truly memorable! I can't wait to return.
