We travelled to Savannah from Asheville on our driving tour from England. We found the Park Avenue Manor to be very homely and enjoyed our stay very much. Maurice and Glenn run a very efficient B&B and would recommend it if you are looking for a very good location in wonderful Savannah. If we ever come back to Savannah we will definitely stay at the Park Avenue Manor.

I have stayed 2 times at Park Avenue Manor and would go back again in a second. The first time I was with my mom and her friends and we had such a good time, I had to bring my husband back. We spent 2 nights there. The breakfast is amazing all of the time. Glenn and Maurice are such great hosts and we feel right at home. It's very affordable and you can't beat the location. Within walking distance to everything in Historic Savannah, they suggested great restaurants, tours, etc and we look forward to going back again. Of course, you can't beat coming home in the evening to brownies and sherry. :-)

My wife and I stayed for two nights over the weekend. We loved our stay here and felt very safe, even when walking back in the middle of the night through the park and well-lit streets.

The hosts: Maurice and Glenn - were very helpful and friendly. They live off site, but were there in the morning and afternoon.

Breakfast: Served family-style, all guests eat at 8:30, coffee and tea available at 7:30. This is a wonderful time to meet with the other guests and get tips on where to go and eat. Coffee, orange juice, and water are served to drink. The meal consisted of nice portions of fruit, side and main dish.

The house: beautifully decorated. Nice cozy fire place downstairs with a sitting area where we enjoyed our coffee in the morning before breakfast was served. They always have brownies and sherry out for guests as well. There is also a small refrigerator upstairs with bottles of water for guests, as well as a few sodas. There is a private courtyard out back as well that my wife and I enjoyed our "Happy Hour" with a bottle of wine each evening before heading out.

The Colonial Room: small but just enough room with queen bed and private bath. The shower was my biggest issue, but barely an issue. My wife thought the bed was a little too firm, but I didn't mind.

The Location: Just on the south end of the Historic District at the southwest corner of Forsyth Park. Its a bit of a walk to the river front, but my wife and I loved the walk and make the hike a couple of times a day. There are also free shuttles, but we loved walking through the park and the seeing the squares throughout the town.

Three of us stayed at The park Avenue manor from October 21st through October 24th and had a wonderful experience. Everything was perfect: food, atmosphere, congeniality, furnishings and facilities. We will definitely stay here again! Our hosts were very gracious and accommodating and showed special attention to every detail. We arrived as customers but left as friends. We shared the Georgia Suite and really used our private entrance into the courtyard for late afternoons. A bit of Heaven! Thanks, Maurice and Glenn

We thoroughly enjoyed the B and B experience while visiting beautiful Savannah. Park Avenue Manor, a brightly colored Victorian gem was lovely. Owners Maurice and Glenn were superb hosts, warm and welcoming to all their guests. This cozy B and B was clean ( thank you Jaime) comfortable, peaceful and so tastefully decorated. All our breakfasts ( five glorious days) were delectable. The unexpected treats, brownies and sherry were yummy. We highly recommend Park Avenue Manor near charming Forsyth Park to all desirous of a stress free vacation. Could not have asked for more. We will definitely return. Park Avenue Manor you are a treasure.

A nice place to stay in a city that is a piece of the old south. The the rooms were nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, the food was great and the hosts were most accommodating. We spent a long weekend in early October and had a great stay. Early mornings in the courtyard before breakfast with our books, coffee, and Red (the friendly cat) were quiet and pleasant. The Park Avenue Manor is a short walk or free shuttle ride to the riverfront and shopping district. Kudos to Glenn and Maurice! We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. We would definitely return to Park Avenue Manor on a return trip to Savannah.

I spent 5 nights at Park Avenue Manor and everything was a delight. Maurice and Glenn make you feel right at home without ever being intrusive. The rooms and bathrooms at Park Avenue Manor are cozy and perfect. Everything is very clean and in good taste Savannah style. The food is delicious, creative and the portions are generous. I had wonderful conversations with the guests who kept changing every 2 or 3 days. On top of it the Bed & Breakfast is ideally situated near Forsyth Park and at walking distance from downtown Savannah.
I strongly recommend this gem of a place but book your reservation early because it is very popular. I promise you won't regret it.
