“Nice”

This was a nice street to walk down, but there is so much to see and do in Savannah, don't spend a lot of time here.

“Magnificent Meandering”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 22, 2014

along River Street. An elevator from the street takes you down to the banks of the river. Wonderful restaurants; try lobster bisque with sherry at the Shrimp Factory. Great busking adds zing to the atmosphere and the guy who makes jewellery while you wait is a gem. Watch the river, walk along the banks and check out the riverboats. And best of all, if you happen to be there when the Savannah Music Festival is on check out the jazz at the Charles H Morris Centre, 10 East Broad Street. In fact check out as much music as you can cos it's the best little festival I've ever attended.

“Great buys!”

Surprisingly there are a few shops that have beautiful scarves for only $10! A beautiful stroll with restaurants nearby. Check it out!

“Good restaurants and bars”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 20, 2014

This part of town is very touristy, but does have many good restaurants and bars. If you're coming from Bay Street, be advised that the stairs leading down to the River are very old and steep. Be extremely careful.
