From the 5 minute explanation of the intricate entry doors and entryway, to the period model of Madison Square on the second floor the guides were engaging and welcoming. They knew the history and were good "storytellers", which is more important than being able to list dates and names. This was the highlight of our trip. And I want to get a copy of the abstract pastel of the house that's on the second floor landing!

A very beautiflul home with many original belongings. Staff was very informative and knew the history of the former owners and Gothic style architecture traits.

Buy the group tickets at the visitors center and see as many of these old antebellum homes as you can. You won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed this historic house and the wonderful women from Savannah who gave us the tour! It was cost effective at $24 for all four of us, (2 adults 2 students) and easy to get too!
