I walk almost every square evry day I am off from work. My dog knows where all the water bowls for dogs are in the different parks.

We visited most of Savannah's 23 squares during our trip to Savannah. They are all beautiful and this is no exception. This is another example of the planning that went into this beautiful southern city.

Beautiful square across the street from The Sorrel-Weed House. Beautiful place to sit and enjoy the scenery... I visited at night... the statue was lighted and made for a beautiful picture

This is where I live!!!! So spend time in it daily!! The dogs love to chase the squirrels!! And the home where Sherman lived in his month stay is right on this square. And for you CSA followers, he did save this city when he could've burned it down!! But he didn't, because he saw it's beauty!!! (and was also encouraged the the SAV businessmen who didn't want to lose their homes or livelihood!!) This is MY square but I'm happy to share it!!! (Also, the Siege of Savannah happened right over it, so it just might be haunted!!)

On the west side of Madison Square is the Green-Meldrim House. On the corner of Charlton and Bull Streets is the Scottish Rite Temple designed by Hyman Witcover who was also the architect for the present Savannah City Hall. Across from that is the Savannah Volunteer Guards Armory, now one of the Savannah College of Art and Design's buildings. Of course it seems like there is a SCAD building every block or two in Savannah.
