This is not as opulent as some other houses one can visit in Savannah but we found the tour quite appealing. The restoration is wonderful and it will be better next year when they complete the next phase. The condition of the house is fabulous. Well worth while in our opinion.

The Davenport House tour gave me the greatest appreciation of what the Historic Savannah Doundation has really accomplished. The tour starts with a brief video that is very well done and worthwhile. Beautiful home to tour, quaint gift shop as well.

This is a beautiful house. My favorite part of course is the spiral staircase and the attic with the original haint blue paint on the ceiling. The docents here are incredible.

This was the first house saved and restored in Savannah. The house gives you an idea what a professional class home would be like as compared to an old rich family home. The history of the home is very interesting. as it follows the fortunes of the families that lived there.
