Very cool museum. You have model ships of all sizes and lots of artifacts. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

The museum is home to a wide collection of model ships, from sailing ships to warships. The collection of model ships in bottles were also amazing. And the walled garden was a real surprise and a treat on a warm afternoon. I would definitely recommend a visit.

This might be boring for some but I love ships and there was plenty to look at...a lot of history and not very crowded during the weekday. My wife looked bored.

This is now probably the largest walled garden in the city, beautifully designed with the newly installed area. All plants are indigenous, of course, and this alone is well worth seeing as an added bonus to your visit to the Ships of the Sea Museum in an architecturally significant restored mansion. Even if you know nothing of maritime history, the models are spectacular intricate depictions of seafaring vessels. A big plus is the free parking.
