“Good Tour or Historic House”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

My wife and I toured the Mercer-Williams House on a Sunday afternoon. Our tour guide did an exceptional job of telling us about the history of the house and describing the contents therein. We were shown the sunken garden and the first floor of the house; the second floor is occupied by the sister of Jim Williams. It was well worth the price of admission. Security is tight in this beautiful home and photographs are not permitted.

“A Glimpse Inside Savannah”
Reviewed November 21, 2012 via mobile

The tour of the Mercer-Williams House was a treat especially with our guide Warner. You could tell he had a passion for history, art, and architecture that shined as he guided our group through this Savannah gem.

Although the home is famous for its role in "Midnight" - Jim Williams' collections and renovations are remarkable and make this a worthwhile stop during your trip.

“Great time with Warren!”
Reviewed November 19, 2012

Very cool house with one of a kind artifacts! Well worth it and a highlight of the trip. There are personal family photos and you get to see the real Jim Williams. Our tour guide Warren was great and really knew his stuff.

“Beautiful House and Interesting Tour”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

This is a very interesting tour. This very historic house has been completely restored and is just beautiful. The guide was very knowledgeable, giving us a lot of information about the history of house and plantation. They didn't allow any pictures, though, even outside which I don't understand. Inside might damage the paintings and fabrics, but outside should be allowed. Recommend visiting, though! Also, nice gift shop.
