The most beautiful church I've ever visited in the United States. The hostesses are so kind and helpful.

This church is a must see for vacationers that enjoy fine architecture, churches, stained glass, old buildings, and history. We have had a private showing of the Sistine Chapel in Italy, and have viewed other beautiful churches in Brazil, Australia, Portugal, and many other countries. We always make sure we visit the churches when in the areas.

My husband and I are Catholic so of course when we travel we attend Sunday Mass in other parishes (FYI: For Catholics unless you are ill, etc., missing Sunday Mass is a grave or "mortal" sin, requiring a trip to the confessionial.)

We felt so blessed to attend Mass in this stunning Cathedral! Not only is it an architectural beauty, the homily was wonderful and of course nothing beats receiving Jesus in the Holy Eucharist :)

If you are not Catholic I would recommend a visit to tour the Church when Mass is not in session, just to appreciate the sheer beauty and history of it!
FYI number two, LOL: It is appropriate to visit quietly so as not to disturb those who are praying, and to keep the spirit of reverence and respect. Enjoy and be blessed! :)

A must-see on your visit. Breathtaking upon entrance to the church. From the stained glass to the pipe organ, this place was outstanding.

This French-Gothic Cathedral rivals any in Europe. The murals are exquisite and you can literally spend hours admiring them. The Cathedral of St John the Baptist is worth a visit and should be must on any tour.
