It was just breath taking. The ceilings and walls were painted and the statues were beautiful. The alter was amazing.

Simply, one of the most breathtaking Cathederal's I've ever seen! Not intimidating~ the art work & stained glass brought tears to my eyes. A Holy place, indeed. A MUST see if you are in Savannah.

The inside of the this church is jaw dropping beautiful. The renovations on the outside have been completed and the view hindering scaffolding has been removed.

This should not be missed when you visit Savannah. The interior of this church is beautiful. My favorite were the stained glass windows. I am not Catholic, so do not know much about their churches, but it was very ornate, with statues and a detailed painted ceiling. The outside architecture is also very attractive.

What can I say that others before me haven't? Absolutely beautiful and humbling.

A gentleman gave a short 5 minute talk to a few of us about some history of the church and architecture, very informative.

The pictures are all so beautiful but they just can not capture the feeling of being there. The incense in the air, hearing your steps on the old wooden floor, hearing the hushed tones of other people in awe and enjoying their experience.

There is no fee to visit the attraction. There are a few donation boxes set out: for restoration, etc.
