“Elegant and delicious”
Reviewed July 29, 2014 via mobile

We chose to have our anniversary dinner here and were thrilled from start to finish. Our waitress Maranda was stellar.

The view of the golf course was lovely-- cocktails were perfect and our meals delicious as well as artistic. I chose the vegetarian menu (yes there is a menu just for us!) while my husband enjoyed a steak. The "opportunities" or side dishes were delicious too-- whipped potatoes -creamed corn... Ooh so good!

I won't be surprised one day when this place overtakes the current #1 rated restaurant at nemacolin here on Trip Advisor. Not #2 for long!

“Amazing Food, Staff and View. Simply Amazing.”
Reviewed July 24, 2014

My family had another wonderful dining experience. Aqueous is amazing. First, allow yourself some time. Each course is an experience in and of itself. I am astounded by the knowledge that the staff possesses about each and every food item on the menu. They can tell you not only how it's prepared but how it is caught, where it came from and how it ends up on the table. New on the menu....Octopus. Do yourself a favor and try it. (Hint....it doesn't taste like chicken!) Chef Matt and Chef Tyler prepared our steaks, pork chops and lobster to perfection. Really....the food could not have been even one tiny bit better! The Tomahawk steak is gigantic. It looks like something Fred Flintstone should eat. Our server Scott and his entourage were ever so attentive and had the answers to every question that we asked about our food choices. Aqueous is lucky to employ an amazing sommelier, Chris, who knows more about wine than any one person should. He paired our wine with our menu choices absolutely perfectly. He shared more facts about our glasses of wine with us than I could even attempt to remember. We couldn't wait for him to come back to the table with more facts (and wine!) He honestly made the evening perfect. Oh, and the desserts......to die for. We each got something different so that we could share and everyone could taste each one. They were almost too pretty to eat. Three hours later, we were full, happy and already planning our next trip back.

“Always an outstanding experience”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

3rd visit. Expensive, but worth it for a special occasion. Our whole party had great good -- steaks and some of the best sea bass ever! On this trip we were treated to a surprise with a private dining room in the kitchen which just made it all the more special. The service was top notch. Even our kids (ages 12 and 14) enjoyed the food and the whole experience!
