We were at Braddock's during buckwheat season, so there were buckwheat pancakes available for breakfast and even at dinner. The staff is very friendly, and they serve the brownest gravy I have ever seen.

Good basic food. I go frequently after church service on Sunday. It is a very popular restaurant where many locals go for lunch. Waitresses are friendly and efficient, and the prices are reasonable.

A Historic eating place on Route 40...Forbes Road. Food spots are scarce in this region so go for the history and the friendly staff. The food is fine for lunch....don't know about dinner.

National Road (US Route 40) was the original “national highway” and the Braddock Inn has been a part of its history, catering to its hungry travelers for much of that time.
The Braddock Inn is a great casual roadside restaurant with an extensive menu featuring daily and seasonal specials. My wife and I had very good made-to-order Italian hoagies with sautéed onions and green peppers. I was torn between the hoagie and made-from-scratch buckwheat pancakes (the buckwheat is grown locally) so our friendly server brought me a side of two large buckwheat pancakes just so I could sample them for a return visit.
Good food + friendly service + reasonable prices = a good casual dining experience.
