My husband and I went to Nemacolin with another couple and stayed in The Chateau. The room was nice size, but a little "tired"...fabrics worn, woodwork and vanity beat, bath rug frayed, caulk was moldy and sparse in tub. I know this sounds picky, but for $450/night, I was expecting more. OK, I know you arent in the room much, so we headed out to tour the property and putt-putt (closed down), golf (closed, even though when we checked in they said it was open), zip line (closed)...so we went to the spa and it was very nice. The service was very good in the restaurants, but the food was just fair (and cold) at Autumn. We loved the Cigar Bar, but the fireplace was fake and on a thermostat so the flame would go off. The staff was friendly, but the conceirge sent us to The Stone House about 10 minutes away and the food and service was TERRIBLE. We loved our trip to Falling Water and would go back there, but not to Nemacolin.
