Stayed here one night on an unexpected layover. We arrived for check in with two toddlers and 5 suitcases- that had to be brought in because there is no nearby parking so you have to self park in a parking garage and walk or pay $20 a day for valet. A fire truck with full sirens pulled up as we were checking in because a lady was stuck in the elevator. So all elevators were inaccessible. They give us our room number (on the TOP floor) and offered no assistance with 5 suitcases and two toddlers. That seemed a little dis-courteous. Well, after I made it clear that this was not acceptable, they found us a room on the second floor. The room was not large, but was very nice. I loved the full sized fridge (it didn't freeze my kids milks like mini-fridges often do) and the bed was really comfortable. The next day we found the car parked next to ours in the parking garage had its window busted out and broken into. So although we didn't feel
Unsafe in the area, we were glad we had taken everything inside with us during our stay.

I was stranded last even at the Baltimore airport due to inclement weather and had to quickly find a hotel to spend the night. I thought I was booking a hotel close to the airport, but ended up in downtown Baltimore. Gripping all the way to the taxi driver about the drive, I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. While the entrance and lobby were pretty bland, I found the rooms to be very nice. This must be a fairly new hotel as the rooms were in outstanding shape, very hip and everything was conveniently located with lots of lighting. The rooms had a nice kitchen area with a microwave, nearly full-size refrigerator, dishwasher and real glasses and dishes (not plastic). The desk area was large with lots of outlets. The bed was incredibly comfortable and even in this unbearable heat wave, the air conditioner consistently delivered cool air. However, the best part of the whole stay was the service I received by Ryan at the front desk. He went out of his way to ensure I was pleased with my room. He offered bottled water, a wake-up call and even offered to make sure I had a cab waiting for me in the morning to take me back to the airport. In the morning, he offered another bottle of water and while I was heading out the door came out to make sure I had my receipt. He was an incredible young man that went well beyond the call of duty.

So it turns out the ice machine on our floor was broken and had a really loud and constant beeping. Sound isolation is really poor so we barely got any sleep. The manager wasn't there and the person at the counter basically said there was nothing he could do about it (I even suggested to unplug it and he said that was not possible). He didn't even offer to switch us to a different room! We checked out at 5am after no sleep at all and the manager was supposed to give me a call to apologize and offer us a refund. He never did. Wrote to Hilton and got no response either. Very unprofessional, stay away.

We recently stayed at the Home2Suites – Baltimore, booking a Queen, Handicapped Accessible Studio. As stated by others, the Hotel is located on a quiet, side street and is easy to pass. Once inside, you will have found a hidden gem. The front desk personnel are extremely helpful and friendly.

The Positives. Along with being clean, the room is very streamline, which allows plenty of walking space. Everything has a place, yet is easily moveable to accommodate your needs. There is no need for the dreaded clothespins to hold the drapes together. The motorized shades, inside the window frame, completely block the light. The beds were FANTASTIC! The curtain between sleep sofa and bed is a nice touch for providing some privacy. The handicapped accessible bathroom ranks as one of the best we have ever had. It was very roomy.

The Negatives. There are only 2 elevators in the building and the halls are narrow. Also, when we stay at a pet friendly hotel, we expect to find a suitable grassy area on the property. We had to walk down a hill, cross a busy 4 lane street, then down some stairs before finding the doggy area. Although ok during the daytime, I did not feel safe doing this in the evenings.

Friendly helpful staff- Nicole,Tavon,David, Marlon, Aaron and Nick-BIG thumbs up! They make the stay as easy as can be. Rooms are spacious, clean and everything is brand new. Laundry facilities and gym are almost worth the stay alone.

Add the yummy morning breakfast which is included, mammoth supply of big juicy apples when you arrive and the 24/7 availability of fresh brewed gourmet coffee and it all adds up to make this hotel Baltimore's best kept secret!

A winner !

Spacious, nice kitchentte. Contemporary furnishings. Great breakfast. Close to the Inner Harbor, however it isn't as close to the Inner Harbor as most hotels but easily within walking distance.

Nice concept by Hilton. Had never ehard of this brand before. They did a nice job of converting an older property. A bit off the beaten path but still within walking distance of a lot of places and the area feels more urban residential.

Good service, nice room
