I really liked the setup of the room, felt as I was home. The bedroom separate from the living area was a great addition. We almost didn't want to leave for dinner and order in :) Didn't hear people form the other rooms, was quiet.

Dear Victor C,
Thank you for your review and choosing to stay at the Embassy Suites Baltimore Downtown. It gives us great pleasure to hear that you enjoyed our two-room suite during your stay. Our hotel is one of the very few that offers very large guest rooms in downtown Baltimore! It would be a pleasure to welcome you back again soon.

Recent renovations make this hotel appealing. Its proximity to Inner Harbor and Camden Yards make it a reasonably priced choice. Room was well appointed and food in restaurant/lounge was very good. Would recommend this hotel to others.

The bathroom toilet seat was not properly fastened. The bathroom sink faucet was not caulked and therefore was always about to fall off. The air conditioning in the bedroom worked but it points directly at the bed so that we were freezing anytime we went to bed (or burning up when we turned it off). The hotel was not properly staffed for a 1)church convention 2) family reunion 3) Artscape etc that took place in the hotel that weekend. We ran out of toilet paper and it took housekeeping over 2 hours to get it to us primarily because she was the only person on staff to take care of this (and other issues). This would not have been a big deal but I had to call 2 times in order to get it. We had to request wash cloths because none were placed in the room when we checked it. There is only one trash can in the suite which means that we had to make the choice of putting dirty diapers in the kitchen or food in the bathroom. The hotel was understaffed and it showed. When there were issues the staff addressed them with courtesy and speed (in most cases) but honestly, I shouldn't have to request TP and if I do request it, can I get it sooner than 2 hours later?

This was formerly The Tremont Plaza Hotel in Baltimore, where I had stayed several times before. I just made another reservation for August because, it was a great experience in everyway possible. The rooms, the service, the food and the staff was the best. I highly would recommend this hotel to everyone. The Manager, Angela is always a pleasure as well and most helpful. R Smith.

Room Tip: My rooms were always good on both previous occasions.

I booked a deal through Living Social a few months ago before the transition to Embassy Suites. Check-in was smooth once we located the front desk (came in through a back entrance apparently) but the entire lobby had a strange stale smell that was very overpowering. The elevator line was really long and we waited for almost half an hour because only one of the six+ elevators was working. When it did arrive it was packed to capacity and very hot! The room itself was great! Nice view, very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. My husband and I stayed for one night to catch an Orioles game and had no problem walking to the harbor area and seeing all of the fun things Baltimore offers. I was a little leery of the neighborhood but we made sure to get back to the room before dark. The room service was good and the staff was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would probably stay there again...especially after they complete the transition.

Dear Holly C,
Thank you for your review and taking advantage of our Living Social promotion. It pleases us to read that you enjoyed our comfortable accommodations, despite the elevator delays you encountered during your recent stay. We are glad you were able to catch an Orioles game and walk to Inner Harbor from our hotel. The Embassy Suites Baltimore Downtown offers our guests tremendous value by only being steps away from Inner Harbor. Also, we are pleased to read that you will be returning to us again in the near future.
