“A great evening or brunch”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

This is a very attractive small restaurant in a wonderfully restored urban area in Baltimore. It is very convenient since parking on the street is usually easy to find. Reservations are necessary due to its popularity but well worth it. The food is terrific! The salads are fresh. The appetizers are iteresting such as deviled eggs with smithfield ham. The entrees also great with at least two seafood dishes;homemade pasta and great chicken dishes. The deserts also very good. Only wine and beer are served which is fine since they have a good selection that is well priced. A 1/4 carafe is $10.00 The service is fantastic with helpful folks who will guide you through the menu in an honest way. Brunch is also really good with egg dishes and among the best burgers in Baltimore!!! We have been there now a few times and will go back. It is a great experience well worth the cost which is reasonable.

“A fine restaurant outing”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

I enjoyed the food service, and business's personal attention. It was a great experience and wonderful meal. Fine wines available, only a block from Phoenix Risin I had no dislikes.

“Attentive, accomplished and obliging!”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

A wonderful dinner - I went with a pal in a wheel chair (and 2 who were not) - and it was easy with him all the way through - with great menu tips from the waitress, an original and well done menu, a broth with the mussels with chorizo that was good enough to bring home and recycle into a jambalaya the net day (it was really, really good!) and temptation enough for one of us to order 8 dishes (he was not paying - I was - but they were shared and great!). A gem.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

Had an excellent Sunday brunch for 4 and enjoyed the mushroom omelette, the onion tart special, and scrambled eggs with sausage. Home-made cherry preserves absolutely best ever. The specialty-wine drink of the day [wish I could remember name] was outstanding, but the mimosa had a funny taste and was served in a pear-shaped drinking glass. Can't wait to visit for dinner. Easy street parking.
