Very nice and fun decor. Friendly staff. Good internet. My husband and I have stayed here a couple of times and had great experiences. This last time I had school work to do and found the internet worked very well. The Top Side restuarant is good and has an amazing view. We love the neighborhood and Hotel Revival is close to awesome restaurants, the Walters, and so much more.

Thanks so much for the love! It’s always great to hear that our guests are taking in the rich history that Mt. Vernon has to offer. Our friends over at the Walters bring so much to the neighborhood. Come see us again soon. We’d love to have you back.

Sincerely,
Donte

We stayed here for one night on New Year's and had a lovely time. We really weren't in the room/hotel that much but everyone was very nice and helpful. The valet parking was super easy and the driver was friendly. We ate two meals in the rooftop restaurant and the food was great! We live nearby and will consider staying here again when we need to stay in Baltimore.

From the time we pulled up to Valet park until the time we left, EVERY person we came in contact with was professional and attentive! We checked in with Darien F. and he was amazing! He took every opportunity to make sure we had a great stay! very informative and accommodating! The Staff at Topside was awesome and remained friendly even though it was a demanding and very busy crowd. The hotel will definitely have us as returning guests!!! kudos to everyone!

Room tip: rooms are clean and designed in a modern yet chic way!

My husband and I spent the weekend at this hotel to celebrate our friends' engagement and birthday. This was our first time at the hotel, and we had nothing but great experiences: the food, the room, and the service were superb. We are definitely adding Hotel Revival to our list of getaways for the future. Special shoutout to the front office staff, valet staff, and Jonathon the bartender.

Room tip: If you can, book a room with a view of The Washington Monument. Make sure you have brunch at Topside.

My wife and I stayed here over the holidays. Even though we stay in Baltimore 5-10 times a year, this was our first stay at this property. We found the hotel itself and the staff charming and will be coming back during future visits. The location, about a five-minute drive north of downtown, was perfect for our needs. There’s valet, but also ample overnight street parking, especially during the holidays, and the neighborhood itself offers an abundance of coffee shops, and restaurants within walking distance, without the hustle and bustle of being right downtown. The location is also excellent if needing to visit family in Towson or the city-based neighborhoods as it’s a quick hop to 83 to get north.

The staff, although not ever present, were extremely welcoming and helpful, especially during our late check in on a holiday evening and when our keys failed. They even would walk to the elevator if your hands were full and call a lift for you (though as a note, these are small and slow…it’s an old building.) They even put up notices that guests may see more staff around as the service elevator was being replaced, which I thought was nicely proactive. The property itself offers a rooftop restaurant with views of the monument and downtown, though we didn’t eat there. There’s also a small gym, which was fully serviceable, but lacked windows. It got the job done, but I expect even for a small property, the two treadmills and single elliptical can feel cramped at times. The lobby is also cute and comfy, as one would expect for a boutique hotel.

The room, a deluxe king, was excellent. The bed comfy, with bedside plugs on both sides, good lighting, and very clean. The coffee/tea service in room was incredible and unique, with an electric kettle and a diverse offering of both coffee and tea which was refreshed every day. One note for those caffeine addicts out there, I didn’t see coffee offered in the lobby, but again given what was on offer in the room, it was not needed. The bathroom was large as well, especially for a small and older building. The rooms did get a bit of hallway noise, so upgrade to the deluxe room so you have amini entry way and some separation. Given the rate, about 2/3rds that of downtown hotels, if you don’t need to be downtown, this is where to stay. The staff, the rooms themselves, and ease of free street parking made this hotel one to come back to. It was certainly a great place to relax and unwind during an extended lots-of-family trip.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review of your visit with us. Nothing against the Inner Harbor, but we agree that Mt. Vernon is a great alternative with rich history and an abundance of charm. It's nice to be close to all the fuss without being stuck in it. Come see us again soon. We'd love to have you back.

Sincerely,
Donte
