I've stayed here numerous times and am always immensely pleased. The hotel is pure charm. It is very clean. My only complaints would be that the mattresses are not the best quality and that housekeeping is inconsistent.

Thank you for making the time to write about your visit(s) to our hotel. Please never hesitate to contact me at anytime with any details or requests that you may have.... Last year, we are proud to tell that we were one of the very few Wyndham hotels to achieve a score or 100% in cleanliness during our Wyndham inspection, but we know there is always room for improvement. Your information helps us toward our goals. Please continue to visit us!

We have stayed at several hotels in the area and will continue to need lodging while using Johns Hopkins. Baltimore in general is over-priced. This could be a fantastic place with a little help in the kitchen and front desk!

"I sincerely apologize if you feel as though our hotel is not "responsive" to special needs. We serve Johns Hopkins patients almost every day and our staff as always held them in the highest regard. We do everything we can so our guests staying or visiting at nearby hospitals feel comfortable and at home. Many of our hospital guests return time and time again and have become our friends. I hope to be able meet you on a return visit to our hotel if you'll give us another opportunity to prove to you our award-winning service. Please contact me as soon as possible so we can address your concerns further and ensure you will not be disappointed again". Thank you.

The Wyndham Peabody Court has been our base when we're in in Baltimore for the past 6 years. It's one of those hotels that's been there for a LONG time, but has been maintained and renovated so it has the feel of a grand old hotel, but is not the least bit shabby. Reasonably priced. AAA rate helps a lot. The Peabody Court was acquired by Windham a couple of years ago, and the entire vibe of the hotel improved significantly. Nice marble bathrooms, good amenities, a room safe.

The location in the Mt. Vernon area is a big plus- definitely one of the nicest areas in Baltimore. The neighborhood is old and looks sort of like Paris. Close to music events at the Peabody Conservatory and to the Walters Art Museum. This neighborhood has really popped in the past few years, and there are LOTS of good restaurant choices, ethnic and otherwise. The Inner Harbor area, which the big magnet area of the city for visitors, is about 15 minute walk - dowenhill to the harbor, uphill on the way back. A comfortable walk, but we like the Peabody Court's location out of the bustle of the harbor.

Baltimore now has free buses called Circulators.

The on-site restaurant is good, not fine cuisine, but really all right, especially for breakfast and lunch, but they also advertise very inexpensive dinner specials, so it might be worth a look if you're staying close to the hotel.

They do hit you for parking, and without their parking service it might be hard to find spaces at night.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room facing the Washington Monument.
