My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sheraton the weekend of November 9th. It's relatively easy to get to from Penn Station, which was good because we was rushing to check-in and make it to the aquarium. We arrived at the hotel at 3:30 and 20 minutes later we made our way to check-in. After going through the initial steps we were informed that our suite wasn't ready and that as soon as it was we'd get a phone call. Normally I'd be upset about this, but we needed to make the 5pm aquarium closing! Approximately 3 1/2 hrs later we were finally able to check-in! Luckily we kept ourselves busy, but really why did it take so long? Or did the hotel just forget to call u sooner? We went up to get our key and the front desk person commented on how we had been "upgraded" to a suite....ummm no we booked the suite. I was too tired to complain so I smiled and headed up to the 23rd floor.
The room was great! Very clean with a kitchenette area. The view was spectacular. The bedroom and bathrom were clean and the bed was very comfortable.
The location: about a 15 minute walk to the harbor (or $6 can ride). About the same or the Orioles & Ravens Stadium. We walked up a bit to Power Plant and enjoyed a great meal at Mex. They also have a big margarita and you don't want to go a it alone!
