“The lobby was beautiful but that is where it stopped”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

I picked up a room on Priceline for 70$. Was very excited because it was a 4+ star hotel, but after you leave the lobby it just becomes like every old hotel. The hotel is in a great location walking distance from everything worth going to in Baltimore. The room was regular with plastic sheeting under the sheets. I thought that was a bit trashy. The pool and hot tub had so much chlorine it burned our eyes. The hotel charges for water in the room and did not have a folder to let you know what was around to do or room service. Not bad for the price but would have been pissed if I paid full price.

Great location-- across street from inner harbor, walking distance to Little Italy. Rooms are very nice and really big-- lots of space and nicely decorated. We had brunch at restaurant on the 5th floor-- beautiful views overlooking the inner harbor. Service was excellent.

We stayed here two nights for the first time and found the location to be great, the staff to be friendly and courteous, and the property to be fabulous.

This hotel is located directly across Pratt St. from the Inner Harbor/World Trade Center. You are just steps away from all the dining, shopping, and entertainment the Harbor has to offer.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and updated. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was large. There were no stains or wear spots on the carpets and all bedding was clean and appeared new. The gym was large and the indoor pool was clean.

As an Elite member of Marriott you will be taken care of at this hotel. Upon arrival we were given 500 bonus points upon check-in and a letter describing the benfits we would receive since the Executive Lounge was closed for the weekend. We were given breakfast for two in the main restaurant, bottled water at the front desk, and two drinks at the bar each night.

Valet parking is fast but rather expensive at $40 per night. The height restriction on the garage is 6'6". There is an open air parking alot opposite the hotel but I am not sure if you can park there over night. That lot is unattended and accepts credit cards only.

Overall this is a very nice Inner Harbor hotel and one that we will stay at again and recommend to those traveling to the area.

Room Tip: If you are an Elite member make sure to ask for a room upgrade as they are available.

The hotel was listed as a 4 star and we were excited to get that experience. We didn't. When we checked in the front staff could have cared less that we were there. Our room was average but did have a great view of the light show at night from inner harbor. We got room service which took 4 calls to place our order. Our well done hamburger was rare. When we called to report it, again, staff could care less. We did get it off our bill after another call. The pool was great with long hours and the staff there were very friendly and accommodating. Tolietries in the bathroom must have been very old as they were crusty. It was close to many things so convenience was a plus. The hotel was not worth the money we paid.

Room Tip: Get one with a view.

This is an average business hotel. The bathrooms were just ok, not as sparkly clean, but passable. The bed was comfy and a plethora of electricity plugs for your phones and computers. The pool was small but really nice. Not bad. I got this hotel for a priceline bid so for the price i paid, i was highly satisfied with the location and value. Its right on the harbor so the locale is great. The watertable restaurant is also very good. I loved the brunch food (i ordered from menu and didnt have buffet). Its a bit pricey but i was happy to pay it compared to the other tourist trap locations across the street. The toiletries were aveda brands so thats always a plus.

This hotel was nice and the service was above average but either was nothing to rave about. After making the reservations on line I made a call to the hotel to verify that our guest would have no problem checking in, because both rooms were reserved under one name. Was assured that would be no problem, but that was not what happened. 4 calls later, 1 while my guests were standing in the lobby, I was told everything was taken care of. Long story short it was a constant battle to make sure all the billing was squared away. Breakfast in morning was wonderful and the hotel is in a great central location for the inner harbor.

The wedding party and guests had a very nice stay over a 4 day weekend. The hotel had nice large rooms and bathrooms. I saw several rooms of various family members and was impressed with each arrangement. The service was prompt by the maintainence staff. We had a toilet issue on arrival that was handled. We did have to change rooms when it was determined that the repair could not be done before bedtime but it was to a comparable room just around the corner. They have parking available in the garage with access by an elavator inside the hotel. There is an additional fee but the convenience was worth it. Public parking is around the corner and easily accessible if you don't want the hotel charge. The location was perfect across the street from the water. The hotel is connected to a 4 storey mall also.

Room Tip: Ask for a room close to the elevator. There are only 1 bank of elevators and it can be a bit of a hi...
