It is our second visit to this hotel. We love the proximity to the Orioles park. It is walking distance to the Inner Harbor. Good service and value.

Just returned from a two night stay here. Was not expecting much since more than one review described it as" just an old chain hotel reasonably priced." Not a fair comment really since the Hotel decor appears recently updated, clean lobby and nice rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great location, walking distance to popular attractions and harborfront. Hotel truly was nicer than expected! We went to Camden Yards to see a ballgame. An announcement was made several times during the game that the Orioles want fans to be happy with their experience. They mean it-good food, reasonable priced seats, nice fans and good fun! Yankee fan but cheered for the Orioles at times. (I was that impressed with the city of Baltimore)

Thanks for this great review. Our Yankees fans are very devoted to their team, as our the O's fans! We're glad to have all our baseball fans coming to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Camden Yards. Thanks a million for your review, and we hope to see you again.

after coming off poor treatment at another hotel, HI does it right here. Simple things matter: a smile when they greet you, a laugh at a not so good joke, and well, doing what they say they do: hosting you and your car with a warmth that this hotel chain often and in fact most times exudes, no matter the location. As a business traveller, this is the hotel for me on my visits to Baltimore. Only suggestion:they let you know the options for breakfast-but no big deal. I still will come back.

Room Tip: breakfast can be informal in a "market like" area in the lobby

This hotel is literally a 3 minute walk to Camden Yards which was fantastic. There are also several small restaurants within walking distance. The harbor was about a 7 minute walk but still not bad. The hotel is okay, beds were fine, I thought it could use some upgrading as the hallways looked "tired" worn carpet, etc. but all in all it was a good hotel for a one or two night stay especially if you are going to the ballgame.

Room Tip: Parking was $25 which I guess is what you pay in this area - I'm used to free so that was a surp...

Hotel staff were great, especially Christine at the front desk with an efficient check in, resturant recommedations and advice on times to catch a flight at BWI. Hotel accomodations are clean but not flashy. There's evidence that some attempts have been made to update the place but don't expect posh. Room. I had in the West tower was spacious, w/ two queen beds and a sette, but the bathroom needs some negotiating....door only partially opened in as it bumps into the commode. While location is great for walking to the ball park and inner harbor be aware you are in the inner city and: 1) scam artists approached multiple guests for money inside the hotel while I was here and the parking lot; 2) lots of pan handlers on the outside; and 3) hotel is directly across from an active fire station which means fire trucks with their sierns a few times every night. Conference center held 200 people comfortably for a business meeting.

Thanks for writing this review. Christine is a great front office person. I'm not sure what happened with the bathroom door, but feel free to contact me at the hotel so I can get the door issue resolved. While protected by free speech rights, pan handling and scam artists are never welcomed by visiting guests, and we will continue to work with city officials to promote better ways to insure our guests feel safe and secure while in town.

We just recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Inner Harbor and it was terrific. The Location is absolutely fantastic and within a short walk of almost everything in the Inner Harbor area. We had tickets to the baseball game and you could actually see the inside of the stadium from the room. The room itself was really nice and very clean. The bedding was in great shape and the entire room was spotless. Everything in the room also worked perfectly including the wireless high speed connection so was able to use my IPAD. Service was great and the Front Desk very helpful in assiting us with dining suggestions as well as being very accommodating. Loved the coffe shop, Dotti's, right off the lobby...perfect start to the morning....The Holiday Inn Inner Harbor was a homerun in our book. JohnNYC
