“This has to be the BEST kept Secret in Baltimore!”

I travel often for business and have stayed at the best on the East and West Coast, and all i can say is the entire stay was five star! If you want the Five Star stay for the Three Star bill... stay at this hotel. In fact, my stay was so good, i am returning for another two week stay and my office in DC is only 37 miles away! Love it!!!

Awesome service!! As a repeat Biz traveler, I will continue to return. I need excellent Internet connection - the manager went over and above to accomodate my needs - even to running a cable up the stairwell until I had what I needed.
I also was there for a JHH procedure, and it was wonderful to be able to have a great eatery within the property for both room service and in person.
AND my poodle Karma was treated like the special traveler that he is - with a pet bed in the room when we arrived!!

This hotel would be fine for tourists who do not wish to take meals at their lodging and want a nice place to stay in a quiet neighborhood.

Participating in a convention, I stayed two nights. Reservation and registration went well. Self-parking was easy. I asked for and got a room for my handicap. The room was large, well-furnished, and clean. Elevators were sufficient and speedy. Housekeeping was good.

The first evening, the convention's program allowed only a one-hour break for dinner on one's own. There are no good dinner choices near the hotel, and its own restaurant and bar were understaffed and overwhelmed. The sandwich I was able to get and wolf down was mediocre and overpriced. The second evening, the convention had a banquet in the hotel. The food was decent but cold, and service slow due to understaffing.

The hotel had enough meeting rooms, but they were spread out and no diagram was provided. The rooms were quiet, but the seating was minimally comfortable. The space provided for the reception late on the first night and for a before-dinner gathering on the second was not adequate for the size of the group.

The first night I went to bed late and was awakened two hours earlier than planned by an unasked for and repetitious wake-up call. As a result, I was tired throughout the second day of the convention, which was its main day, and dozing off during a presentation I especially wished to hear. I complained to the desk clerk who admitted that there had been a problem with the system. After returning home, I e-mailed the manager for credit for one-night's lodging; he offered 50%, and I settled for that.

I was at Hopkins for some business and stayed for one night. Here are some pros and cons and why I'm giving this place 2 stars.

Pros:
Good location if you going to Hopkins
Rooms at big - suite style so comes with small living and sofa bed
Refinished interior
Cons:
Self parking is $20 with no in and out privileges - must do valet for $24
Small bathrooms
Expensive for the quality
Very small gym!
Expensive breakfast for very mediocre food - $14 full buffet but I think a hampton inn free breakfast actually tastes better with more variety to choose from
Staff service is not incredible

We had an extended stay in a king suite, since we were having renovations done at our home as a result of water problems. The staff was very considerate trying to make our stay comfortable, from managent down to housekeeping! Hotel kept very clean, housekeeping very helpful in keeping everything up, great beds & linens, can sleep well! Good location, walking distance to alot of restaurants, but taxi always available, 10 min drive to downtown. Hotel in a residential neighborhood safe for jogging, right across from Hopkins university & 3 blocks from Baltimore museum of art. To sum it up being at this hotel made a difficult time for us a lot easier to withstand! Thank you! To whole staff for being so caring!!! Edith & Avery

Left an item at the hotel and they kept it for me for over a week until I could get back to retrieve it. I always have the best night sleep when I stay here and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

I have stayed at this property over 100 nights during the past 12 months. The rooms are always clean and the staff is very accommodating. Owing to the proximity to Johns Hopkins University, there are many things to do nearby. Finally, the hotel restaurant serves up excellent food in both the dining room and room service settings. This is a safe choice for the traveler that wants a quiet, comfortable hotel.
