“Excellent food and something different!”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

Went to the Lebanese Taverna Friday evening on a business trip. Had been there a year ago and enjoyed it so much we went again and were not disappointed! I'm not an expert on Lebanese food but got (again) the "sampler plate" (not called that on the menu). It had a wonderful variety of items, each uniquely delicious. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. Shared the bread pudding for dessert that we all enjoyed. Very reasonably priced for wonderful food and great atmosphere. If you want to try something different in a relaxed atmosphere and a scenic location right on the harbor, this is an excellent choice.

Great food in a nice spot. Very nice atmosphere. Only problem is that the heat was a little high, but well worth the time!

“Great food and atmosphere”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

My husband and I have eaten at the Lebanese Taverna a few times now and have always enjoyed the experience. The last visit was on a busy Saturday night to celebrate my daughter's 28th birthday with us and a couple of her close friends. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very knowledgeable about the food with good recommendations. The "Happy Birthday" song was a fun ending to the night!

“Lebanese food done right”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

I'm not expert on Middle Eastern cuisine, but the food prepared by this restaurant was complex in flavors and tasty. We had a variety of appetizers including marinated shrimp and fried artichoke hearts - both beautifully presented and delicious. The hummus was the smoothest I've had. The next course was a salmon harra served with a spicy chutney-like blend of tomatoes, cilantro, and pine nuts (my favorite that night). Next came the kabobs of lamb, chicken, and kafta. I thought the lamb was a bit overdone, but both the kafta and chicken were wonderful, especially with the whipped garlic. We'll be coming back to this place.

“Beautiful place with tasty food”
Reviewed February 15, 2013

We have eaten at this restaurant twice and loved it both times. We like to stay at the nearby Homewood Suites when we are in Baltimore. It has comfortable booths along the wall or you can sit at tables near the window with a view of the water. Our server was pleasant and efficient. There are plenty of great menu options for everyone, including my vegetarian 11 year old daughter. I got a sampler platter with nine different items. It was beautiful to look at and fun to have so much variety. My husband got lamb. Everyone was happy with their food. It was reasonably priced for the quality of food and ambiance.

I don't understand why this restaurant iwas not more well attended the two times we were there.
